When we first watched Dr. McLawhorn’s intro video, his words conveyed intentionality, compassion, and skillful confidence. Important to me was a surgeon who both listened and heard my end goal of returning to pre-hip replacement activities. From the initial in-person appointment, we knew Dr. McLawhorn was the right surgeon! The words of the video were exactly reflected in-person by Dr. McLawhorn. Fast forward 6 weeks post surgery, my recovery and faith in Dr. McLawhorn’s skills exceeded any expectation. His precision, technique, and level of understanding for the patient process were apparent and felt. I saw Dr. McLawhorn because of arthritis in my hip. I was really impressed and like him very much. He took his time with me, asking me many good questions and listening carefully to my answers. He was knowledgeable and thorough in explaining all the different treatment options.
